ALL STAR BASEBALL
HVABSA's VP of Recreational Baseball - Steve White
All Stars is part of Recreational baseball, where players who want to, can tryout, and play up to 5 summer tournaments which are played after the HV rec spring season.
All Star teams play tournament baseball against area All Star and Premier teams.
Teams are formed from registered rec players from the current season via an All Star tryout. All start tryouts are usually mid to late April each spring season. Reach out to your age group commissioner for more details.
All Star Tournaments occur from Memorial Day weekend through the last weekend of June and are played at local city fields, Flower Mound, Colleyville, Grapevine, Coppell, Trophy Club, etc. Travel is usually within about 30 min where teams play with two pool play games on Saturdays and up to 3 bracket play games on Sunday.
Rec players will experience a higher level of play and this is a good chance to see if a player is ready to move up to Premier or Select level baseball.
Expect additional cost to play All Stars due to tournament fees and associated costs when playing tournament baseball.
