Recreational Baseball is for ages between 3 and 14. Blastball is for ages of 3-4 or "4U" signifying ages 4 and under. Depending on the number of players for each spring or fall season, ages may be single age or combined ages, i.e. just 5U or combined 9U/10U.  If ages combine, then it is based on field dimensions, i.e. 11U and 12U both have the same pitching distance (50') and base distance (70') so they would combine, but 10U and 11U could not combine due to different sized field dimensions.

All-Stars are for Rec players who are interested in the playing a little extra baseball and competing at a higher level in up to 5 local summer tournaments from Memorial Day weekend through the end of June.  All Star teams form based on try-outs. All players who played on a recreational team at HVABSA baseball in the spring are eligible to tryout and participate in All-Stars.

The next level of play that our teams compete in is Premier, played via DFW Interlock.  Premier usually begins at 7U or 8U and plays through 10U or 11U (if offered at 11U). Premier teams are formed based on a tryout and play other local association premier teams. They also compete in the same local tourneys as All Stars usually from Memorial Day to end of June.

Select baseball is offered through the Highland Village Storm organization.  Storm teams compete at all levels of select baseball (D3/AA, D2/AAA, and D1/Majors).  Teams are formed via tryouts and/or coach evaluation.  Teams play a mix of league play and tournaments.  League play is via Texas Elite Baseball Association, TEBA.  Tournaments are usually played in the greater DFW Metro area, but teams could and normally do travel outside of the DFW metro for some tourneys.

Ages 15U and above are considered High School baseball and play in TEBA for league play during the spring and fall seasons.
